national honors for moanalua panda express

One of Hawaii’s Panda Express restaurants is celebrating a new national No. 1 ranking that makes Kapiolani very proud! The Moanalua Shopping Center location raised more money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals than any other Panda Express in the nation. Giving is at the heart of Panda Express’ core values, and it really showed when the restaurant’s guests and associates raised $45,591 for Kapiolani in 2021.

“Through the continued generosity of Panda Express, the Child Life team at Kapiolani is able to provide social-emotional support and developmentally appropriate care to enhance the well-being of pediatric patients and their families,” said Heather Tamaye, supervisor of pediatric services at Kapiolani.

Overall, the 32 Panda locations across the state raised a total of $394,455 for Hawaii’s only Children's Miracle Network hospital last year. Kapiolani is extremely grateful for Panda Express’ amazing support and partnership, and the community’s generosity!
