Inspire 2024 ANNUAL DONOR REPORT
CMN: Miracle Moments

A Partner in Giving
A trusted partner can always be relied on, and that’s exactly what Marriott Vacations Worldwide has been for Hawaii’s Children's Miracle Network.
In 2024, the company raised more than $400,000 for keiki, nearly doubling its total from the year before. In October, it added an additional $20,000 to mark the grand opening of the Marriott Vacation Club, Waikiki.
“This donation represents our dedication to Hawaii, our commitment to its environment and people, and our appreciation for the community that has continuously welcomed us in as part of its ohana,” said John Geller, Marriott Vacations Worldwide president and CEO.
Marriott Vacations Worldwide has raised more than $2.5 million for Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children since 2008.
Maui No Ka Oi
When it comes to fundraising for Hawaii’s children, Maui no ka oi. The Kahului Costco raised a record-breaking $235,861 in 2024 — more than any other warehouse in the nation. Dozens of CMN Hospitals balloons, signifying donations to Kapiolani, covered the walls of the Costco on Haleakala Highway.
"Costco Maui is humbly honored to be a part of this fundraising campaign for such a worthy cause,” said Nalani Hunt, Costco Maui general manager. “We are so proud to be partnered with Kapiolani. We will do our very best to beat our record from 2024 for Hawaii’s keiki.”
In total, the seven Hawaii Costco warehouses raised more than $787,000 for Kapiolani.
It Takes Two
It’s always nice to be No. 1. It’s even better to be named No. 1 and No. 2. That’s exactly what Walgreens in Lahaina and Hawaii Kai did in September. The locations took the top spots among Walgreens nationwide during a 14-day fundraising campaign for CMN Hospitals.
In total, Hawaii Walgreens locations raised more than $25,000 for Kapiolani, which is more than double the total from 2023. Some team members went the extra mile, making and selling their own local treats and gift baskets.
“Kapiolani is just so much more than a hospital,” said Chase O’Neal, Walgreens district manager of retail and pharmacy operations in Hawaii. “Our team members were born there, their kids were born there or a family member has had treatment there.”
