2021 virtual radiothon recap

Thank you for being our partner in healing kids at Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women & Children! A swell of community support carried the 2021 Kapiʻolani Radiothon for Kids to a record $575,615 finish including a surprise $100,000 donation from UHA Health Insurance.

Together our community made the event’s 15th anniversary a remarkable milestone, it’s the largest amount raised in the event’s history! The two-day broadcast fundraiser for Kapiʻolani started with KSSK 92.3 FM/AM 590 in 2007 and has been a giving tradition ever since for our community. Especially during this COVID-19 pandemic, Hawaiʻi has shown that its commitment to children is greater than ever.
