Take a virtual tour of the Playroom at Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children, a dedicated space where pediatric patients can play in a safe space and forget about being hospitalized. The Playroom is where Child Life therapists work closely with pediatric patients to help them positively cope with their illness while using play as therapeutic part of their recovery.

The Playroom and Child Life program are possible because of generous donations from our community. Every gift supports Child Life specialists as they coordinate with doctors, nurses and other health professionals to provide patients with the best care possible.
