Training the Next Generation of Nurse Aides

Hawaiʻi Pacific Health is helping aspiring high school students on Kauaʻi get their career started in healthcare. At Kapaʻa High School, students interested in nursing can get hands-on training through the HPH Nurse Aide Program. The semester-long program is taught by experienced HPH healthcare professionals who train students basic nursing and care skills, infection control, patient rights, and more. The nursing cohort featured in this video was able to have this opportunity through a community donation to the Wilcox Health Foundation
