Inspire 2025 ANNUAL DONOR REPORT
HPH: Power of Giving Back

Employees from across HPH got together for a kani ka pila to start the 2025 Employee Giving Campaign.
Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s employees do more than care for the community. They also care about the community.
In September, employees across O‘ahu and Kaua‘i joined together for the annual Employee Giving Campaign (EGC). More than 3,000 gave directly from their paychecks and pockets to support programs for patients in financial need.
Fundraisers included pop-up markets, lucky draws and an extravagant cupcake decorating contest. There were dozens of food sales with flavors from all over the world – from pizza to Portuguese bean soup, shave ice to banana lumpia, and Japanese matcha to Dubai chocolates.
Among the most popular was a hibachi-grilled miso chicken plate, a signature dish of Dave Stumbaugh, HPH vice president of supply chain management. He and his team prepared 200 chicken thighs and served up 100 plates. They quickly sold out, raising more than $1,700.
“Hawai‘i Pacific Health has given so much to me,” Stumbaugh said. “It brought me and my wife to the islands from the mainland. Both of my boys were born at Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children. I’ve had a great, rewarding career here for 25 years and counting. There’s nothing I won’t do for this organization.”
Through the incredible generosity of HPH employees, the 2025 EGC raised $1,009,200.
It’s a sum that will have a far-reaching impact on the community. Funds support programs and services across HPH’s four medical centers, including those that help patients who need essential resources such as medication, medical equipment and transportation.
“It’s truly inspiring to see the energy and creativity of the Employee Giving Campaign every year,” said Amanda Price, HPH director of Philanthropy. “The amount we raised is remarkable, but it’s no surprise when you look around at our colleagues. Our people are amazing.”
